List of Aircraft (1:1800 / 1:1200)

 Scale

My aircraft designs are available in 1:1800 and 1:1200. I, personally prefer to use 1:1200 flying aircraft with 1:1800 ships. They are certainly easier to paint but I also think they look better. It might have something to do with them being closer to the eye and therefore in a kind of fake perspective.

I have been told that a Warlord Zero (for their Victory at Sea game) has a wing span of 9mm which would make them 1:1200. Anyway, the choice is yours.

Classification

I use the following classification's. Small equals fighters, Medium equals Medium bombers, Large equals Large bombers etc

Flight Bases

I do two types of 'In flight' bases.

Hexagonal:

These are my original style hexagonal style, they have their name slightly raised at the rear of the stand.

Measurements are across the long edge.

1:1800

  • Small aircraft (2 aircraft per stand, Observation aircraft are 1 to a stand) £0.60
  • Medium aircraft (1 aircraft per stand) £0.60
  • Large aircraft (1 aircraft per stand) £1.00

1:1200

  • Small aircraft (2 aircraft per stand, Observation aircraft are 1 to a stand) £0.60
  • Medium aircraft (1 aircraft per stand) £0.60
  • Large aircraft (1 aircraft per stand) £1.00

Round

These have a sea texture and raised name plate at the rear.

  • 25mm diameter £2.00 a stand
Small have 4 (Observation aircraft 1), Medium 2 and Large 1 aircraft to a stand

Flights
The default number of aircraft on a stand is 4 (in a Finger 4 formation) but I can also do a Vic (3 aircraft) if requested.
Dive bombers can also be done in a 'diving' attitude.

Robustness
If you are concerned about this type of stands robustness I have made
this sort video.

Removing excess supports

I've added extra supports to many of my aircraft. These can be removed with flat noses snips (just be careful not to remove the last one!).

Landed

I also produce landed aircraft. These come 6 to a flat base and can be cut off to be added to carriers etc. They are 1:1800 (unless requested otherwise).

  • Small £1.80
  • Medium £2.40
  • Large £3.00

Postage

Within the UK postage is usually £1 (£3 if buying 25mm round bases or the larger aircraft)
